Our client is a prominent UK VC firm looking to appoint a Programme Director for their ambitious deep-tech venture-building accelerator programmes.

The successful candidate will join at a pivotal point, with significant scope to shape how the programme actually works: helping define the programme, participant journey, curriculum, diagnostics, mentoring model, delivery processes and operating standards that will underpin its future growth.

At the same time, the Programme Director will be able to draw from a deep well of support. The programmes sit within an established VC firm, giving the team access to considerable investment expertise, networks, operational capabilities and wider company-building resources.

Working closely with the platform's senior leadership, the Programme Director will:

• Shape and continually improve the venture-building programme

• Take end-to-end ownership of programme delivery

• Build a repeatable operating model capable of scaling

• Develop curriculum, diagnostics, assessment, mentoring and milestones

• Manage applications and cohort selection

• Coordinate founders, investors, mentors, operators and specialist providers

• Capture lessons from each cohort and continually raise the bar

Therefore, we are looking for someone who combines outstanding programme and project management with a genuine desire to create, improve and build.

The successful candidate will have worked in accelerators, venture builders, innovation programmes, entrepreneurship platforms, education, or other complex, cohort-based environments. Ideally, they will have had exposure to deep-tech, science, university spinouts and/or early-stage venture building.

Most importantly, they will be someone who relishes turning ideas into exceptional execution and taking real ownership for building the operating blueprint from which a much larger platform can grow.
