Our client is a fast-growing UK deep-tech business transforming how critical networks are secured in the age of AI and quantum computing.

Backed by leading investors, the company has built a highly differentiated hardware-enabled platform designed to improve the speed, resilience and security of data movement across telecoms, data centres, cloud, defence and other mission-critical environments.

The business has already achieved significant commercial validation, including government customer adoption and a multi-year contract with a global Tier One telecommunications operator, with its technology currently live across seven countries.

It is now entering an important phase of commercial scale-up and is seeking an experienced Chair to support the CEO and board as it sharpens its go-to-market strategy, strengthens enterprise and strategic customer engagement, and prepares the business for future funding and exit opportunities.

The ideal Chair will bring experience scaling a deep-tech, telecoms, networking, infrastructure or security-related technology business, with a strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, strategic partnerships and international market adoption.

They will be credible with customers, investors and industry partners, while bringing the judgement, network and board leadership required to help a technically strong business translate its innovation into accelerated commercial traction.
