Our client is a venture-backed deep-tech company developing next-generation sensing technology for the rapidly emerging physical AI market. Its proprietary platform combines advanced semiconductor and photonics innovation to address a critical challenge facing robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, and defence applications.

Having secured significant investment from leading venture and strategic backers, the business has validated its technology in real-world environments and is now entering a pivotal phase as it prepares for commercial scale-up and its next major funding round.

The Executive Chair will join at a highly influential stage, and will be a vital mentor and guide to an award-winning technical founder with deep domain expertise. Partnering closely with an experienced board and investor group, they will strengthen the company’s leadership capability, accelerate commercial progress, support strategic hiring, and help secure the company's next phase of growth.

This hands-on appointment is ideally suited to an individual with a track record of building and scaling venture-backed deep-tech businesses, raising significant growth capital, and guiding complex technology companies through critical inflection points.

Experience spanning hardware, semiconductors, photonics, robotics, autonomy, or related sectors would be particularly valuable.
