Our client is a pioneering startup that addresses the demand for high-performing industrial edge AI, providing a solution that is faster, more energy-efficient, and explainable than any currently available on the market.

The company has recently raised c£5m pre-seed funding to further build the engineering capability and bring its first commercial product to market in late 2025.  It is well progressed against its commercial milestones and, as such, strongly positioned to capitalise on the considerable market opportunity.

The decision has been made to appoint a new Chair who can provide leadership and direction to the company through this crucial next phase, overseeing the effective operation of the board, the fundraising strategy, and helping to shape the strategic vision.

The existing team benefits from extensive deep sector expertise, commercial understanding, and vision. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a proven Chair or Non-Executive Director with a track record of scaling B2B SaaS businesses through to Series C, maximising value, and the ability to raise larger funding rounds as the company grows.

This should appeal to a Chair who is passionate about utilising their track record, network and experience to improve lives through AI in a more sustainable way, as well as creating and realising shareholder value.
