Our client is a world leader in the development of electric propulsion systems for the growing aerospace electrification market.

 

Established in 2021, the company’s driving force is to create a sustainable future for aviation through the commercialisation of its next-generation electric motor technology. In pursuit of these ambitions and to meet the ever-growing demand for its powertrain solutions, the business has been scaling fast. Today, it employs c.200 people based at a 39,000sq. ft HQ that houses engineering labs, manufacturing space, and custom test and validation facilities.

 

With the company maturing at pace, it is essential that its Test + Verification (T+V) function has the right structure and direction, as well as robust systems and processes, to meet the changing needs of the business.

 

As such, our client is looking for an experienced, hands-on, and intellectually capable Head of Test + Verification to provide astute and intelligent leadership to the team, ensuring that the T+V capability is fit for purpose as the company continues to grow in scale and complexity.

 

This individual will lead and manage all test-related activities, ensuring the reliable and safe performance of electric propulsion systems, compliance with aerospace standards, and certifying product integrity.

 

The successful candidate will, therefore, have previous experience leading a Test team, as well as a deep understanding of propulsion systems, batteries, testing methodologies, and electrical systems.

 

Preferably, this experience will have been gained in the aerospace industry, although candidates with a background in automotive / motorsport will also be considered
